Small Enterprise Banking Advisors


We are seeking individuals that are looking for a career in micro, small and medium enterprise banking.  The successful candidate will be assigned to one of our partner banks after a period of training. Advisors help select and train local personnel, improve business processes and support the establishment and development of the credit business. Our advisory services focus on lending to MSMEs, agricultural enterprises and green businesses. The advertised position will require extended residence in countries in which we work. 

We are primarily seeking individuals that can make a longer-term commitment. From time to time, we will also hire experienced individuals that can work on a project-by-project basis. We encourage you to apply if you can identify with our approach and vision, are curious about other countries and cultures, and have the following qualifications:  
  • a degree with above-average grades in a relevant subject
  • strong analytic skills and the ability to be meticulous and highly organized
  • good command of math
  • strong language skills (fluency in Spanish is particularly valuable at present, but we are also interested in other languages, including Portuguese, Russian, Chinese and Turkish)
  • strong interpersonal skills coupled with the ability and determination to communicate authentically and openly
  • a strong interest in responsible banking and in our target group of micro, small and medium enterprises
